100 Wines by David Walker

I love when you discover interesting little shops and special places that spark your curiosity and imagination. This past weekend, I found one of the most interesting and fantastic wine stores in Calgary, and maybe even Canada. Situated at the base of Arriva, Calgary's tallest residential condo tower, 100 Wines by David Walker neighbors a great modern Italian restaurant and lounge called Olives as well as Zia's Enoteca, a quaint little wine bar.

Simplicity is the key ingredient to this wine shop's allure. 100 wines are hand picked from around the world to turn simple wine shopping into a wine experience fit for a connoisseur. I was especially interested in the reserve Malbecs and Barolo varieties on offer, but the collection has something for all tastes. The uncluttered atmosphere and simplicity of the space brings a new dimension to picking up that perfect bottle of vino. Kudos.
